You can’t really see me but i think the light and the trees in this photo are really beautiful and when i look at this i immediately remember all the reasons i miss living in my old room and my parents house. I guess i “came of age” in this weird little attic room. Today I’ve been thinking about the New Year and highlights of 2015. I’ve been listening to my favourite Hildegard, beginning to organise myself and my thoughts for the new term, lighting candles, gazing out my windows at ivory silver birches and drinking tea with almond milk.
Highlights of 2015:
~Starting my MA
~Learning to sing falsetto in Russian
~Going platinum blonde, wearing weird medieval clothes and mood boarding an entirely new sartorial & tonsorial aesthetic i’ve previously lacked the confidence to violently embrace
~Getting an email about how to restore virginity from a linked in renaissance art group
Here’s to twenty sixteen. I hope I continue to heal.

This is not a tasty gummy sweet but a Jewel Caterpillar found in Amazon Rainforest. They are covered with sticky goo-like, gellatinous tubercles that provides protection from its predator like ants until they metamorphosise into winged moths.
